I bought more books today. I really should be banned from buying novels, even biographies. Anything that has to be read from cover to cover. I should keep the book buying to short story collections and reference books. At least until I get my current reading list down to about two or three - or even one or zero! Right now it's HUGE. The ones I still have to read far outweigh the ones I have finished. I even have a pile of books that I've started but haven't finished! It can be so overwhelming at times, but then again, I really can't think of anything better to collect (books) or a better way to spend money (on books), except maybe travel or college tuition - but I really just mean "fun" money.
I plan on gathering a list of what books I have, what to read, what to finish and what I'm done with. And I plan on finding a place to keep my "red" list - what books I've read so far this year. I have high hopes for this Blog, I just don't know how to get people to read it! Oh well, it's mostly for my own benefit anyway. Someplace where I can just get out my thoughts about what I've read and basic stuff about being a reader (and a writer!) and an English Major (lots of reading!)

Haha, I can't go in to a bookstore without buying a book (or two). I ended up with a heavy luggage on my last trip to London :)
I got one bookcase with books in swedish and one with books in english and now I got piles of books on the floor because there are no more room on the shelves.
Ha! Me too. I've got books piled up everywhere in my room. One day I would just like to have a big room where the walls are just huge bookshelves - from floor to ceiling and from wall to wall. Nothin' but books. ♥ I'd love that.
My "mother in law" got a room like that in her 19th century house, and a big deap armchair with a footstool, mmmmmm me want :D
Sweet! Man, that could be my happy place lol. In an old house no less!
