Dance With a Vampire

just found this book, on display at my Barnes and Noble the other day (Tuesday) I bought it Wednesday and finished it Wednesday night lol. I don't know if it's out everywhere yet, but my BN tends to get things in early (Holly Black's Ironside was out early)

Anyway, it's a really good book, a fast read of course, cute and entertaining. Another mortal/vampire love story, but not at all like the Twilight books (thank god!) Raven is a gazillion times more interesting then Bella. Raven is a spunky goth girl who just happens to have a hot vampire boyfriend, and Bella is a boring plain jane whose sickenly dependent on a guy. Just how I see it though.

This story is cute, and kind of centers on Raven's little bro Billy. It's all about sibling rivalry and growing up a little bit. Raven has matured a bit since the last few books, actually being concerned for her brothers sake. It's like in real life, when you have a sibling and you both hate each other growing up, but once you start getting older, you both realize that you actually do love each other and then you become friends - I know, that's what happened to my sister and I. :)

Definatley pick this one up if you've been reading this series and definately pick up the first book if you haven't started yet. :P
